Major Project: Previz version One
All the animation has now been animated, some scenes are either ready for rendering and some still need refining before they are ready. With my first attempt at a previz that is below, I followed my animatic and I felt that some of the shots did not work.
After taking Phil's advice I cut out what I thought was not working and now I feel it works much better but still need some work.
Here are a few renders of what the final animation would look like.

Major Project: He Moves !!!
So animating has started, the first thing I wanted to create was a walk cycle for Tyler, as there are a few scenes where Tyler is walking around in his little world. I want his walk to be very child like and at the moment he waddles and does not walk but I think that it works because of the size of him. It does need refining though but here it is the first draft/attempt at the walk cycle .....

Major Project : Tyler's Classroom
The classroom set for my animation has been modelled and texturing and lighting has been started. For my animation I am going to use vectors lines, with my hand drawn textures. Then the objects will have an outline and stand out from the white background.
Below are experiments with different vector lines and compositing them on to my render.
0.1 width
0.3 width
width 0.4
Width 0.6
Close up of wall display
I think that 0.1 and 0.3 width vector lines work the best, but Still need to refine the textures and maying adding some objects on the cupboards at the back so it does not look too empty. But now I have a set , I can start thinking about starting animating the first part of my animation, while still finish texturing and lighting

Major Project: Finished figuring parts of the Animation
From my last post I have made some changes and put back in the my asking the question I think it works better. I will be recording the questions and I would like to recorded the background noise but I am unable to go back into the school this week but hopefully soon. But for the time being I am getting on with modelling the props and set, ready for animating.
There are still a few tweaks I need to make to the timing and the end but hopefully every scenario works in terms of making people laugh.
Next step is to figure out exactly what I have left to model and what and how I am going to go about animate each of the acts/scenarios.

Major Project: Putting concepts together
Using my original animatic, I have added the new concepts of each of the answers I created. At the moment their are few timing problems that need tweaking but now I think I have visuals for each answer, which you would expected from a child.
Also I have cut out my voice asking the questions and just has the questions appear on screen. This way makes me feel as if the animation would lose something, maybe reordering the questions and then laying it over the original classroom soundtrack would be better. Definitely something that is on the top of my list to do first...

Major Project: Concept Development Part 2
Here are the next concepts for several of the answers I have been working on. They are in development, I still think that they could be pushed even more in terms of a child's imagination. But here is what I have come up with so far for each answer ....
"Every time I save a goal I get more money"
" A Dollar "
"I am gonna play for west ham"
The concepts below are development of my previous post, but with changes by sticking to the rules of child's imagination and West ham.
" I gonna be the captain"
This concept I have changed the telescope to a just a cardboard tube and added the West ham badge to the bandanna. And the concept below and the idea I have settled on is having Tyler dressed up as a pirate with a cardboard sword, playing around and then knocks over the C.
Major Project: Concept Development Part 1
With the next set of concepts, I have really tried to express what a child would be thinking and combined it with the influence of West ham. So the next sentence I worked on was , "It doesn't matter as long as we win". I found this one quite fun to work on and creating some strange and different ideas, such as the idea of a giant trophies as seen below.
A.
B. Winners podium
C. Ballon trophies that fly away.
D.
E. confetti cellebration
F.
G.
H. Hugging an inflatable trophy.

Major Project: Figuring out parts of the Animation
The next line, I went back to from the voice over was "I am going to be the goalie captain". In my initial animatic, the visuals I had were Tyler standing next to a capital C, knocking it over and slipping away of screen. But it was suggested that maybe I think about how Tyler himself imagine being a captain, the ideas of him being a pirate captain, superhero captain were just a initial few ideas.
A.
C.
D.
From the drawings, I think I am going to stick with the idea of the capital C but have Tyler playing around on it dressed as a pirate, then knocking it over and cheekily walking away, like nothing happened.

Major Project: Concept Art
This first piece of concept art and the rest that will follow are not just about what environments and props I will need to design but for me to fully resolve some of the visual part of my animation. Making my overall animation feel as if we are actually seeing what Tyler would be picturing when he is answer the questions. One way of doing this is for me to think how a 6 year would, and start to think what would he be thinking when he said that. So by breaking the voice over down and taking each of the answer Tyler said, I am going to draw a quick illustration for each answer, an attempt to capture the imagination of a child. Doing this will allow for me to create visuals for my animation that create the same laugh as the voice over does.
So below is my first attempt an illustration to at the answer "When I get bigger, I am gonna go to France "
Major Project: Proposal
My last project was not the last time we will be seeing Tyler, as my major project is carrying off from where I left my minor project. Below is my major project proposal and timetable that I aim to follow for this project.
Onwards and Upwards !!!!
