Research & Influence Map - For Setting (Attic)


An attic is a space found directly below the roof of a house or any other building. Also it can be called a garret, a loft or sky parlor. As attics fill the space between the ceiling of the top floor of a building and the slanted roof. They have been known for there awkwardly shaped spaces with exposed rafters and has the difficulty to access the corners. While some attics are converted into bedrooms or home offices, complete with windows and staircases. But most attics remain hard to get to, becoming neglected and are typically used for storage.

With this influence map it manly shows a variety of different attics that have been neglected over time as well as filled with storage. And over time it becomes a dark,dusty abandoned space making it a great place to have a setting for a story.
